I am Ernest J. Lougee Sr. I was born August 25, 1919 in Lakeville Ma. We lived on 10 Keith Ave.I married 3 times. Once to Roy Barnes We had one son Ray Barnes. 

Second to Dorothy Travers who was born on May 23, 1927 and died on Oct 9, 1974. We had 4 children. Dennis born 1953, Helen born 1954, Robert born 1957, and Francis born 1960. 

My last wife was with Althea Richards. She was born on October 9. 1974and we had 2 children. Ernest Joseph Lougee born December 8, 1948 and Pearl Lougee in 1950.


After having a full live
I passed away at the age of 77, of Lakeville, died on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 1996, after a long illness. Born in Middleboro, he was the son of the late Ernest M. and Doris J. (Bennett) Lougee.
 A lifelong resident of Lakeville, he attended Middleboro schools and was employed as a truck driver for 30 years. He also was employed by Nemasket Beverage Co. and Nemasket Construction Co. and worked as a heavy equipment operator, helping to build the Lakeville Country Club.
 Mr. Lougee was a booster member of the Berkley American Legion Post 121.
 His hobbies included hunting, fishing and gardening and he enjoyed talking and working with two-way radios and CBs.
 He is survived by three sons, Robert J. Lougee of Lakeville, Francis R. Lougee of Attleboro and Dennis M. Lougee of East Hampton; a step-son, Roy Barnes of Mansfield; a step-daughter, Pearl Faria of Stoughton; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
